Malawi vs Cameroon: The Lions Are In Joburg

Antonio Conceiçao and his men have successfully arrived Johannesburg, South Africa ahead of their 5th game in group D of the World Cup qualifiers.

The team made two days in camp at the nation’s political capital of Yaounde, Cameroon – before traveling to South Africa on Wednesday.

Cameroon, in search of a record extending 8th participation in the World Cup, arrived South Africa during the early hours of Thursday morning ( 1 am).

The team then settled at the Hilton Sandton hotel, where they will be based until their game on Saturday 13th.

Team Cameroon traveled without some star players but if the 5 – time African Champions must make the knockout phase of the World Cup qualifiers, they need to win their games against Malawi and Cote D’Ivoire.

Malawi have been in South Africa for five days as they prepare to frustrate the Lions.
