Martin Hongla Solicited By Salernitana and Crémonese

Under contract until June 2026 with Hellas Verona, Martin Hongla could be on his way out.

Absent from the score sheet at the weekend in Verona’s 2-0 victory over Cremonese, Martin Hongla clearly does not fit the plans of Marco Zaffaroni, the new coach of Verona.

The situation could push the Cameroonian international to find a new base by the end of this transfer window.

While the central midfielder seems to bevundesirable in Verona, he has attracted several Serie A teams including Salernitana and Crémonese as indicated by DAZN Italia.

In search of a quality midfielder, Crémonese, who already wanted to enlist Jean Onana last winter, seems to be the club most interested in the services of the 24-year-old midfielder and they could go on the offensive as soon as this summer in order to snatch his services even on loan.

Getting peanuts in terms of minutes due to the presence of Adrien Tameze, Ivan Ilic, Felipe Tarracciano and Miguel Véloso, Hongla has only played 10 games in all competitions this season, and he wouldn’t be against the idea of winning more game time elsewhere.
