M’Changama and Guingamp Duo Included as Comoros Unveils 26-Man Squad for AFCON 2025

Stefano Cusin, the coach of the Comoros national team, officially unveiled his 26-man squad on Tuesday, December 9, to compete in the highly anticipated 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The tournament is scheduled to take place in Morocco, running from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

The squad features the celebrated veteran playmaker Youssouf M’Changama. The 35-year-old, a former star for En Avant Guingamp, will serve as the team’s leader, bringing his substantial experience of 70 caps and 14 goals to the tournament. M’Changama currently plays his club football for Al-Batin in Saudi Arabia. The selection also includes another figure with current ties to EA Guingamp, defender Akim Abdallah. Furthermore, Zaydou Youssouf, a former midfielder for French giants Girondins de Bordeaux and AS Saint-Etienne, who is now with Al-Fateh in Saudi Arabia, has been named in the group.
