Minister Narcisse Mouelle Oversees Two Year Contract Extension Of Antonio Conceiçao

Portuguese tactician Antonio Conceiçao is game for the TotalEnergies AFCON 2021 as he has been rewarded for his hard work with a two year contract extension as head coach of the Indomitable Lions.

The occasion was presided upon by Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, and he was assisted by FECAFOOT boss Seidou Mbobo Njoya.

Conceiçao was first appointed on Friday September 20, 2019 by the Minister of Sports and Physical Education who said it was an accomplishment of a rigorous process.

The 59-year old Toni Conceicaio hasn’t tweaked his staff, and he’s still assisted by François Omam Biyik and Jacques Songo’o as goalkeepers’ trainer.

He has a record of 10 games with Cameroon, winning 4 drawing 5 and losing just once.

Toni Conceiçaio replaced Clarence Seedorf who was sacked after a dismal performance at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations where Cameroon was knocked out.

The former Porto player will now brace himself and prepare to perhaps the man that will give Cameroon her 6th AFCON trophy, shifting them one off rivals Egypt.
