Morocco 2022 – AWCON Qualifiers: Lionesses Expected In Camp Ahead Of Gambia clash

In view of the home and away matches Cameroon is set to play against Gambia on February 18th and 23rd respectively, in the second round of the African Women’s Cup of Nations ‘Morocco 2022,’ coach Gabriel Zabo has sent invitations to players, and picked a start date for camp to commence.

The Indomitable Lionesses will hold a training camp from February 14th to February 23rd in Yaounde, Cameroon.

In the first round, team Cameroon defeated the Central African Republic 3-0 on aggregate – in October last year, as both legs that were played in Cameroon.

Nchout Ajara scored the lone goal in the first of two fixtures played in Japoma, Douala, before Ngock Yango and Eliane Manbolamo Bodolo did further damage in the reversed fixture.

Sportsglitz.net has been informed that team Gambia will be headed for Cameroon by February 15th.

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon are looking for their 13th participation in the women’s Africa Cup of Nations. They have withdrawn from the party once; 1995.
