Morocco Avenge First Loss With Win Over U20 Lionesses

The Under-20 Lionesses of Cameroon lost the reversed fixture of their two legged friendly against Morocco, at the Omnisports stadium in Yaounde, this Thursday July 8.

Ndome Elise opened scoring for the Under 20 Lionesses of coach Josophine Mike Ndoumou, but the lead did not last for long.

Just seven minutes after, Morocco drew level with an El Basstali Zoubida’s goal from the penalty spot; the first for Morocco in the two ties.

The Indomitable Lionesses looked stunned and conceded again five minutes after. This time, El Basstali Zoubida converting from close range.

The game was pretty much won and lost in the first half, with three goals scored; two from Morocco, and one for the Under-20 Lionesses.

The first leg saw
Lamine Mana and Enganembe score to gift Cameroon a 2-0 victory on Sunday July 4.

The Lionesses therefore recorded a balance sheet of three goals scored, two conceded, and one win out of two games won.
