Moukoudi helps AEK consolidate second place in GSL with thumping finish

AEK Athens recorded a valuable victory (2-1) on the road to OFI Crete pitch, during the 14th day of the Greek Super League.

Author of a solid performance in defense, Harold Moukoudi also distinguished himself in the opposing area by scoring a decisive goal.

The Cameroonian defender, a real asset on set pieces, scored his third goal of the season in the championship.

In borrowed time (45’+6), he appeared at the near post to take a corner with a powerful header, allowing his team to come back into the game.

The new goal confirms the importance of Moukoudi in the system of coach Matías Almeyda, both defensively and offensively.

AEK Athens consolidates its 2nd place in the standings and remains in the race for the title. For his part, Moukoudi continues to shine, reinforcing his status as a key player in the team and a pillar for the Indomitable Lions.
