Moumi Ngamaleu And Young Boys Deny Ronaldo The Perfect Manchester Return

Nicolas Moumie Ngamaleu on the heels of a fine international performance with the Indomitable Lions that included his goal against the Cote D’Ivoire, speared his club Young Boys to a win against Manchester United in a breathless UCL tie against Cristiano Ronaldo and his Manchester side (2-1).

Cristiano Ronaldo got his second spell as a Manchester United player off to an excellent start last weekend as he scored a brace in a 4-1 win against Newcastle United, but the Red Devils’ turned towards the Champions League as they had a job to do in the group-stage opener away to Young Boys on Tuesday evening.

Young Boys grabbed a late winner to shock Manchester United on the opening day of the Champions League group stage in group F

Ronaldo’s early goal looked like the Red Devils would seal a comfortable three points but the game quickly changed with Wan Bissaka’s red card.

It was all Young Boys in the second period, and they got their reward – Ngamaleu levelled the game, before Lingard’s error set up another player of Cameroonian descent – Jordan Siebatcheu for the decisive, late winner.

There is still a long way to go in this season’s UCL but the victory alone seems like winning the trophy for the Stade De Suisse fatefuls.

The goal on Tuesday night was Moumie Ngamaleu’s second of the season and his first ever in the Champions League finals.
