Mozambique vs Cameroon: Lions Stuck In Douala A Day To The Game

The indomitable Lions of Cameroon are in Douala and have not been able to take – off for Tanger, a day before their group D WC qualifiers game against Mozambique.

According to CRTV’s Simon Lyonga, the flight was initially penciled for 2 pm on Saturday by Camairco. Two other attempts at 9 pm, and later midnight, all went abortive.

Feedback gotten from ace sports mohogany – Simon Lyonga earlier today Sunday, suggests that the crew that had to fly the Lions to Tanger had a Covid19 case. The reserve team was in Guinea and so Camairco put up two mini – aircrafts that ware denied by the players.

All these ahead of a difficult reversed fixture against the OS Mambas of Mozambique who drew nil-all with Cote D’Ivoire at the Estádio do Zimpeto in Mozambique.

The Lions have to still take on Mozambique at 2 pm in Tanger tomorrow, as at the time this report was done
