MTN Elite Two: Foncha Street Finally Beaten, Complete Match Day 5 Results

Match day 5 of the MTN Elite Two brought about loads of surprises, as some early season contenders fell short.

Racing completed two successive victories over North West outfits. After their victory over Rangers on match day 4, Racing went on to beat log leaders Foncha Street through a 3-1 handsome scoreline.

The result knocked Foncha Street off the table as Racing now holds the wheel with 10 points recorded.

Stade Bertoua bounced back from a defeat in the last match day to defeat Ofta of Kribi 2-0. The Ocean Boys desperately need inspiration after having recorded just a single point thus far this season.

Unisport shared the spoils with Bafut Rangers who came into that one trying to avoid a third successive defeat.

Victoria United have been inconsistent and that didn’t change as the men of Guy Bertin lost away to FAP.

There was some good news for Leopard meanwhile, who managed a first victory of the campaign against city rivals Dynamo.

Aigle of Moungo saw off TKC courtesy a 2-0 margin to move up to 7 points.

The table is extremely tight as only 5 points separates 12th placed Dynamo and 2nd placed Foncha Street in the 13-team Championship.
