Musa Leaves Pillars For Turkey

Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa has left Kano Pillars to join Turkish Club, Fatih Karagumruk. He joins as a free agent.

He left the Saudi Professional League Club Al Nassr on October 25th, 2020, for his boyhood club Kano Pillars.

Earlier, the winger – had signed a short-term deal with the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), with a clause that he could leave, if given an offer abroad.

He is in Turkey, in order to complete the transfer. The Turkish club (Fatih Karagumruk) has already announced the arrival of Musa this week.

The team finished 8th in the Turkish top-flight last season. This is the first time he will play for a Turkish side in his career.

Musa is a true ‘Eagle’ having been part of the team that won Nigeria’s third Africa Cup Of Nations title at South Africa 2013.

Musa lasted the past few weeks playing for Kano Pillars and provided an assist in nine appearances.
