Nasser Mansy’s brace consolidates Zamalek atop group B

Abu Salem squared off against Zamalek at the 19 May 1956 Stadium on Sunday, and gulped down a 2-1 defeat.

The Libyan side played their home game in Algeria, but the visitors were determined to take advantage.

Since their opening-day defeat, Abu Salim won three consecutive matches, which puts them in position for the knockout phase with 9 points.

Zamalek are through as group winners with 13 points.
