No Moffi, but Osimhen and Boniface make Paseiro’s 25-man AFCON list
As time goes on, African nations involved in the TotalEnergies 2023 AFCON (January 13 to February 11, 2024 in Cote D’Ivoire), continue to communicate the lists of players who will defend the colors of their country.
After Morocco, Senegal, Cameroon and even hosts Cote D’Ivoire, it was Nigeria’s turn to follow the movement this Friday.
On its social networks, the three-time African champions (1980, 1994, 2013) revealed the identity of the 25 players selected by coach Jose Peseiro.
Unsurprisingly, Victor Boniface, Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze will make the trip, as will Nantes winger Moses Simon.
However, it is not be the case for Niçois Terem Moffi, absent from the list.
