North Korea’s U-17 Women’s Dominance Continues with 2-0 Victory Over Mexico
The formidable DPR Korea (North Korea) U-17 women’s national team, multiple-time champions in this age category, asserted their authority once again by securing a 2-0 victory against Mexico.
The win demonstrated North Korea’s renowned efficiency and attacking prowess from the opening minutes of the match.
The Asian powerhouse wasted no time in establishing their lead. Barely five minutes into the game, forward Yu Jong-Hyang found the back of the net, registering a vital early goal for her team in the 5th minute. The unrelenting pressure paid off again before the half-hour mark. In the 28th minute, Kim Won-Sim doubled the advantage for the champions. Displaying composure and precision, Kim’s goal solidified the two-goal cushion, a lead that proved insurmountable for the Mexican team.
