Nouhou Tolo Voted Semis Left Back After Inspiring Sounders To First CL Final

Having won the first leg via a 3-1 scoreline, MLS juggernauts Seattle Sounders clinched a 1-1 draw against New York City with left back Nouhou Tolo putting on the plate for Raul Ruidiaz.

Tolo’s performance from the left flank was worthy of a player of the team of the semis accolade.

For the first time in club’s history, Seattle Sounders FC advanced to the Concacaf Champions League final, thanks to a 1-1 draw at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday.

Coming into the competition protecting a 3-1 first-leg victory obtained in the US Field last week, Seattle got the result they needed thanks to a first-half goal from Raul Ruidiaz on an assist from the Cameroonian international Nouhou Tolo.

The Sounders will face Mexico’s Pumas UNAM in a two legged final. The first leg will be played in Mexico at the end of April and the return leg will be played in early May in Seattle. The Cameroonian left-back due to his fine performances in both ties made Concacaf team of the Champions League semis.
