Nouhou Tolo’s Sounders Record Worse Season On The Back Of Best Ever!

Fullback Nouhou Tolo and MLS juggernauts, Seattle Sounders are experiencing some sort of bitter sweet experience after failing to make the postseason for the first time in 13 years.

It was sealed after the club’s last game of the season that ended 2-all against the San Jose Earthquakes.

It therefore means that the most renowned streak in the MLS came to an abrupt end.

For a club that’s only been accustomed to playoff soccer, missing out on the postseason will inevitably sting. However, it was just some five months ago that the Sounders topped Liga MX’s Pumas UNAM to become the first-ever MLS club to win the modern incarnation of Concacaf Champions League. This campaign, Nouhou played 30 league games, scored once and dished out 2 assists. Sounders will now have to prepare for the FIFA club world cup that starts in February, as champions of the Concacaf region.
