Nsame Scores In Young Boys’ Comfortable Victory Against Lucerne

Christian Fassnacht, Jean-Pierre Nsame and Sandro Lauper scored the goals for Young Boys in a comfortable 3-0 win against Lucerne. The lead over second-placed Servette is now up to ten points.

It was Nsame’s 9th goal in 15 league matches, as the cameroonian international looks well underway to picking up the golden boot in the division for a second time.

Young Boys took the lead after four minutes against Lucerne. Christian Fassnacht struck the net after a precise cross from Kastriot Imeri, which became his second goal of the season, two days after his 29th birthday.

Young Boys keep piling the pressure and they doubled their lead at the 32nd minutes. Jean-Pierre Nsame was quickest to a cross from Ulisses Garcia and tapped in for 2-0 at break with Young Boys undoubtedly deserving the lead.

At the beginning of the second half, Lucerne stepped up a bit, but YB still kept control of the game and scored a third goal. Sandro Lauper with the finish in the 70th minute – 26 seconds after he came on with the first touch of the ball.

YB extend their lead at the top to ten points because Servette lost 1: 4 at FC Zurich.
