Ousmanou Christophe, Rigobert Song – Set To Miss Out On Controversial U20 & U23 Lions’ Camp

This online sports portal has been reliably informed that Ousmanou Christophe and Rigobert Song, coaches of the U20 and U23 Lions category, could be absent from the controversial camp in Paris, France.

As per reports, coach Rigobert Song and Ousmanou Christoph are dumbstruck with some irregularities around the camping to start in three days.

Both Rigobert Song and Ousmanou Christophe have not selected any players for a camp session, according to a source close to the two gaffers.

From further inquiry, the camp has been organised by certain managers whose names cannot be aired.

Without breaching confidentiality, we are talking figures of around $2-3.5,000 given by some of the players abroad, to get called for the camp.

key players, deserving of the call, plying within that range in Europe – have completely been left out, while a majority of the players are based in France.

It remains to be seen how realistic all these turns out. The Under 20 Lions category lastly had a camped in March this year. For the U23’s, there’s been a break from the last AFCON in 2019 till date.
