Pierre Ramsès Akono Leaves Eupen For Alcayano

Former Eding sport of the Lékie midfielder Pierre Ramsès Akono has left KAS Eupen and joined Alcoyano, a club in the Spanish 3rd division.

After two seasons in the Jupiler Pro League, Ramses Akono has found another challenge.

Alcoyano Sad are current 13th in group B of the Spanish D3.

In two years at KAS Eupen, the Cameroonian midfielder only played the last 8 minutes of a match in the 6th round of the Belgian Cup.

Relegated with the U21s upon his arrival, he did not have the chance to play a single minute in the Belgian first division.

Six months from the end of his contract with Eupen, Ramses Akono is therefore heading to Spain where he hopes to have a little more playing time. This will allow him to revive, the latter’s confidence and perhaps win the Spanish Third Division.
