Playoff Dream Kept Solid By Dynamo With Victory Over AS Fortuna.

Dynamo of Douala has beaten AS Fortuna 1-0, to cement top spot in Group A after ten matchdays in the elite one championship.

Starman Leonel Christian Ateba scored his first goals since his national team appearance and it was the only goal that made the difference against AS Fortuna as Dynamo emerged runaway leaders of Group A.

A rematch of the first leg which left question on Dynamo Dynamo’s massive recrutes following a dead rubber will turn out not be the same with an early goal from the Bon Ba Djob lead striker.

Fortuna, just like Dynamo headed into the encounter from a draw against Canon of Yaounde expecting to achieve a similar feat which however wasn’t the case.

The yellow and Black club maintained their good momentum with Ateba earning his sixth goal inside the opening 17minutes of kick-off.

Little came in from the Fortuna camp that incurred defeat to stay 9th, level on points with next opponents Aigle Royale.

Dynamo heads into the derby with a 5point gap of nearest challenger, Bamboutos of Mbouda.
