PSL: Marou Souaibou Finally Makes Debut

Marou Souaibou has finally played his first minutes with Orlando Pirates.

The cameroonian international made his debut for Orlando Pirates yesterday in their 2-1 victory over Maritzburg United in match day 20th of the premier soccer league.

The former Coton Sport striker from Garoua came into play at 81′. The Cameroonian international played the last 9 minutes of the game.

Souaibou arrived South Africa with a high reputation after having retuned from the 2022 Qatar Work Cup where he was amid the 28 players selected by Rigobert Song.

Souaibou ended last season as ballon D’or winner with 21 goals in all competitions including a double (league and Cameroon Cup) as skipper of Cotonsport.
