Qatar 2022: Boufal Apologizes For leaving Out Africa In Post Match Interview

Sofiane Boufal has added up Africa, which he initially forgot after the victory against Spain in the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup.

Aware of the stir caused by his statement, Sofiane Boufal wanted to clarify and reassure the African continent. In a message on his official networks, the Angers player apologized.

“Sorry for having forgotten to quote the entire African continent yesterday (Tuesday, editor’s note) in the post-match interview. Thank you for being behind us, I also dedicate the victory to you of course. We are proud to represent all our brothers on the continent”, wrote the player on Instagram.
