Qatar 2022: Indomitable Lions To Use Mythical Jersey Against Switzerland

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will use the mythical first jersey synonymous to their home kit against Switzerland on Thursday Nov. 24.

The information was released by the team’s communication officer Thierry Ndoh on Tuesday.

With the Indomitable Lions, jersey colors are a thing. As per the multitude of Indomitable Lions fans, the home hit serves as a ‘good luck charm’, while others like the yellow ( wiped out by One All Sports) has a touch of Ill luck.

New kit sponsors One All Sports have 3 choices; the white, green and red colors – as match day kits, and all black used for training.

The Indomitable Lions have a good record with the first kit; green shirts and red shorts. From generations past, the home kit has won for Cameroon virtually all the moments of glory.

4-AFCON trophies; 1988, 2000, 2002 and 2017 were won with the mythical colors; (except that of 1984) was won without the home kit. The Olympic gold medal was equally scooped in 2000 with the green shirts and green shorts.

Cameroon will be looking for a first win since that of 2002 against Saudi Arabia when they face Switzerland on Nov. 24 in their group G opener. The Indomitable Lions will be hoping their traditional home kit can give them their tournament ‘moju’ back.
