Qatar 2022: Richarlison’s Bicycle Kick Beats Aboubakar’s Dink To Goal Of The Tourney

For Internet users, the goal scored by the Brazil’s Richarlison – in the group stage against Serbia was the most beautiful of the World Cup in Qatar which ended on Sunday. Richarlison’s stunner bettered Vincent Aboubakar’s and 9 other contenders.

Richarlison scored Brazil’s second goal against Serbia on November 24 in the game which eventually ended 2-0 for the Seleçao.

The World Football Governing Body (FIFA) named nine candidates, with ten goals amongst the options in the pools that saw fans voting for 72 hours.

Richarlison was in fact, nominated twice. The Tottenham striker, author of three goals, had his acrobatic attempt against Serbia, and his finish after a lovely team effort against South Korea put amongst the net bursters.

Another Brazilian, Neymar, with his goal against Croatia, was equally nominated.

Midfeilder and world champion Enzo Fernandez, thanks to his curling shot from range against Mexico was shortlisted. Same was the case of beaten finalist Kylian Mbappe, author of a superb shot against Poland. Salem Al-Dawsari’s curling effort against Argentina, Dutchman Cody Gakop’s goal against Ecuador, Vincent Aboubakar’s chip against Serbia, Luis Chavez of Mexico and Paik Seung -Ho of South Korea were the others in the running but they all fell to Richarlison’s sculpture.
