Qatar 2022: Tite Assures Fans After Neymar’s Injury.

Neymar Junior limped off Injured in Brazil’s 2-0 win over Serbia on Thursday Nov. 24 but Seleçao coach Tite has called for calm.

At the post match press conference after having barely beaten Dragan Stojkovic’s Serbia (2-0), Brazil coach Tite was reassuring about news on his playmaker Neymar Jr, who was injured in the 79th minute: ” don’t worry, Neymar is going to play the World Cup. He will continue to play, you can be sure of that.’

It is however a real blow for the Seleçao, who could possibly lose their number 10 at least for the next meeting game in group G against Switzerland who were victorious against Cameroon earlier in the afternoon.

As a reminder, the team doctor confirmed that the PSG star suffered from a sprained right ankle following the tackle by Serbia’s Serb Nikola Milenkovic.
