Rangers Coach – Toguem Jean Baptiste Passes On

Recently appointed coach of Bafut Rangers, Toguem Jean Baptiste, died on Sunday, October 9 following an illness, his club announced.

The former coach of PWD of Bamenda, unfortunately, did not occupy his office with Bafut Rangers.

“Our hearts are saddened by the sudden and regrettable departure of Mr. Toguem Jean Baptiste, coach of Rangers Bafut Football Club. He died on Sunday October 9 after a brief illness,” Bafut Rangers FC wrote in a statement.

His former club, PWD of Bamenda also paid tribute to him. “We are deeply saddened by the news of the death of our former caoch, Toguem Jean Baptiste. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family,” wrote the 2021 Cameroon Cup winners. Toguem Jean Baptiste dedicated his life to the development of football in Cameroon, and he will always be the man remembered for getting PWD an Elite One ticket in the 2018 season.
