Rigobert Song leave Cameroon’s destiny in the hands of ‘God’

In his post match press conference, Rigobert Song talked about the lack of efficiency of his players, on Monday January 15, against the Syli National of Guinea – and invited ”God” to take over the situation.

In the second match of Group C, the Indomitable Lions could not do better than a draw when Guinea played with 10 men throughout the second period of the match.

In a post-match press conference, Rigobert Song declared that the ‘Most High’ will be alongside the Indomitable Lions in subsequent games.

“God will accompany us next time so that we can score the chances we missed today,” Rigobert Song said at the post match press conference.

With this point from the draw against Guinea, the Teranga Lions maintain top spot in group C.

In their next outing, the Indomitable Lions will face the reigning African champions, the Teranga Lions – on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 5 p.m. GMT.
