Saliba, Mbeumo Could Be Present In Next Lions’ Camp

According to members of the Indomitable Lions staff, the work to get William Saliba and Bryan Mbeumo to play for the indomitable Lions is near completion.

The two players are possessive of dual – nationalities and lots of back ground work has been done to convince them to play for Cameroon.

Sportsglitz can now confirm that 90 percent of the work is done, and the aforementioned players will most likely be eligible for call – ups the next time the Lions go into camp in October.

Defender William Saliba has played 2 games for Olympique Marseille in the French Ligue 1 so far. The latter is on loan from Arsenal and only at 20, he is tipped to improve overtime.

22 year old Bryan Mbeumo is the more established of the two players. Bryan Mbeumo scored 8 goals in the Championship last season for Brentford, and has scored a total of 24 goals since he joined the club in 2019.

He has equally won the hearts of fans in Brentford’s first two games of the season against Arsenal and Crystal Palace.

The Indomitable Lions go up against Malawi and Cote D’Ivoire on the 3 and 6 of September respectively. The next camp will be in view of the double header against Mozambique on October 6 and 10.
