Salli Edgar Sees Double Against Omonia

Salli Edgar scored a brace as his side Olympiakos Nicosia dismissed Omonia 3-0 at the GSP stadium in group B of the playoffs in the Cypriot first division playoffs.

The Indomitable Lions forward forward opened scoring at the 9th minute before widening the mark for his side at the 23rd minute via the penalty spot.

After the pose, Olympiakos Nicosia extended the lead through 26-year-old Cyprus international, Andreas Makris.

It went on to end 3-0 for Edgar and co, but the erstwhile Cotonsport player and his teammates are still ranked 3rd on the log, 7 points from second placed Omonia, and 9 points from first-placed AEL.

The brace was Salli Edgar’s fouth goal in 20 matches played this season.
