Saudi Pro League: Aboubakar Assist Against Hilal As Nassr Go Top

Vincent Aboubakar, amidst talks of leaving Nassr showed up big time in the derby against Hilal with an assist on Monday.

A two-all draw was the outcome of the Nassr-Hilal clash known as the derby of the capital, Riyadh.

The game played on Monday, at Marsool Park – was one of match day 10 fixtures in the Saudi League championship, and it lived up to the hype.

Nigerian international Odion Ighalo scored in the 10th minute and Salem Al-Dosari in the 62nd minute from a penalty for Hilal, while Vincent Aboubakar’s teammate Anderson Talisca scored in the 56th minute. It was that lovely combo between Aboubakar and Talisca, that got Nassr’s first goal. Abdul Rahman followed through in the 88th minute to put an end to the contest with a parity note.

With the draw, Al-Nassr maintain first position with 23 points, due Al-Shabab’s defeat, while Al-Hilal dropped to fourth place with 21 points.
