Serge Tabekou Switches To Qingdao Hainiu

Cameroonian international Serge Tabekou has signed a contract with Chinese club Qingdao Hainiu.

Without a club since the termination of his contract with the Belgian club Lierse K, free agent Serge Tabekou has engaged with newly promoted Chinese D1 club, Qingdao Hainiu.

The announcement was made by the media Hotopot Football. Against all expectations, the Apejes graduate terminated his contract a few weeks ago with Lierse where he was on a good run with 7 goals and 5 assists.

At 26, Tabekou will ply for his 8th club in Europe. Having arrived at La Gantoise in the 2014/2015 season, he won the Belgian championship and the super cup in 2016.

He went on to play for Sedan in France, OH Leuven, Saint Gilloise, Mouscron and Lierse K in Belgium and Manisa FK in Turkey. With the indomitable lions, he has 5 selections.
