NFF Inquire Cotonsport’s Availability For Pre – AFCON Friendly

The Nigerian Football Federation has inquired about the availability of Cotonsport, as they wish to take them as sparring partners before the AFCON in Cameroon.

sportsglitz.net gathered the aforementioned except from the Director of Communications at Cotonsport, Saliou Adamou, after it first broke on the internet earlier today.

However, Adamou and the 15 – time Elite One Champions are still uncertain, given the tight schedule immediately after Cotonsport resumes training within the week.

Three – time AFCON Champions – Nigeria, released her list of 28 players on December 25. They are expected to open camp in Abuja, on December 29.

Cotonsport’s uncertainty lies in the fact that they had expected an earlier shout, but it is coming at the nick of time.

In fact, the draw for 2021-22 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup group stage, for which Cotonsport will be part of, will take place Tomorrow December 28.
