Svenska Cupen: Victor Mpindi Scores In Orebro’s 1-3 Defeat To Orgryte

Victor Mpindi scored his team’s lone in the Swedish Cup stylized the ‘Svenska Cupen’, as they lost 1-3 to Orgryte on Saturday, February 26.

Mpindi scored the game’s leveller at the 39th minute, after Olle Johansson had gifted the visitors the lead.

The game wasn’t to end with a dead rubber, though, as Orgryte put two more past goalkeeper Bobby Allain for the 3-1 victory.

First up was Arvid Brorsson at the 50th minute, followed by Browing-Lagerfeldt with an added on time finish to settle matters.

Victor Mpindi Ekani, 25, is currently on loan from
SönderjyskE. The lad is trying to find his feet in his new colours, having already played two games in the Swedish Cup.

Mpindi and his Orebro teammates return to the Skytteholms stadium for the reversed tie against Orgryte on Monday, March 7th.

They are currently 3rd with one point in group B of the cup, that has Orgryte leading with 6 points so far.
