Swiss Super League: Ngamaleu converts From 12 yards, Young Boys Peep Sion

Moumi Ngamaleu and Young Boys bounced back from last week’s defeat against Servette, to pick maximum points against Sion – on match day 16, of the Swiss Super League.

Coach David Wagner and his men were weary of making any faults as they received a wounded Sion, who were themselves, were on two defeats.

Sion stunned the hosts totally against the run of play, through Birama Ndoye, at the 3rd minute.

16 minutes in, Filip Stojilković doubled the lead for the visitors. Frenchman Wilfried Kanga, however, halved deficit at the 25th minute of play.

The task for Young Boys was made a little easier with the expulsion of Sion defender, Baltazar Costa, at the 41st minute.

With the game completely blown open, it took Ngamaleu’s usual calmness from the spot, to beat goalkeeper Flickentscher, for two all.

Sulejmani scored the game’s third and it was closely followed by Kanga’s brace at 80th minute, to complete the resurgence.

Dimitri Cavaré scored Sion’s third, but it was nothing more than a consolation for the away side.

Young Boys, hugely struck by injury this season, are 9 points behind FC Zurich, and are far from regaining the Championship won last term.

Ngamaleu has scored 5 goals and assisted 9 times in all competitions this season.
