Tawamba’s Goal Not Enough As Ahli Draw With Taawoun

Cameroon international forward Leandre Tawamba’s goal was not enough to gift victory to Al Taawoun against Ahli Saudi as the visitors scored to even matters in the second half.

The match was on the occasion of the 4th day of play in the Saudi championship.

Home side Al Tawooun started the game with intent and go – to – guy Tawamba scored 9 minutes in to give his side the edge.

Al Taawoun maintained the lead for almost 60 minutes, even creating scoring chances through Tawamba, but couldn’t concretize.

Unfortunately for the Cameroonian’s team, the visitors equalized at the 63rd minute to make it one – all.

With this result, Al Taawoun temporarily occupies 14th place in the standings with 2 points in four matches. And it was Tawamba’s fourth of the season.
