Tchoukouegno & Tigana: Top Cameroonian agents sign historic partnership

Ace Cameroonian agents Amadou Tigana Fontem and Rostand Tchoukouegno have put pen to paper, binding their agencies for a collaboration.

After several months of negotiation, this summer transfer window, two of Cameroon’s best players’ agents have finally reached a partnership agreement.

FIFA player agent Amadou Tigana, show-named Africa’s ‘George Mendez’, and Rostand TCHOUKOUEGNO, known by his peers as ‘Mino Raiola’ have reached the agreement that will revolutionize the market in Cameroon and on the continent on Friday, July 7.

Amadou Tigana is affiliated to the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) as the face of agents, while Tchoukouegno is an affiliate FIFA player agent of the German Football Federation.

Signing formalities took place at the Platinum Hotel in Douala, under the supervision Bamboutos FC president, Justin Tagouh.

From now hence, the TJP sport management based in Germany and the Royal Soccer Scout management based in the United States will partner to broker deals.

There’s a sense of real professionalism, experience and expertise after the collaboration. The immediate task for these two structures will be to work closely to ensure a successful career for players from different backgrounds.

For starters, the two FIFA agents have made a list of African footy stars.

Rostand Tchoukouegno has the likes of 2022 Indomitable Lions World cup campaigners: Moumi Ngamaleu, Oum Gouet, and most recently, Kaiba Djawal, just to name a few, in his clientele.

Amadou Tigana is hugely credited for the progress of the Zambian duo: Enoch Mwepu (retired due to heart frailties) and Leicester city star – Patson Daka, who falls in the category of the fiercest strikers on the continent. Most recently, it was due to the work of Tigana that led to Mbella Etouga’s move from AS Fortuna to Asante Kotoko, and then Al Masry.

With a collab between Tigana and Tchoukouegno in the grand scheme of things, most players would have nothing to worry about off the pitch, which will lead to full focus on their performances on the pitch.

Work begins on Monday already as Tigana Fontem heads to Tanzania to oversee Che Malone’s move from Cotonsport to Simba SC.
