Tigana – Batamack Rift: Mfegue Risk Returning

The last few days have been raining fire and brimstone for player manager – Tigana Fontem, and Avion president, Pierre Batamack.

The Crux of the matter remains a supposed breach of a verbal contract on Batamack’s part, refusing to pay an agreed commission to Tigana Fontem, after the Mfegue’s sign on bonus was paid into Abion’s account.

It was only after the money had arrived that President Batamack brought to Tigana’s knowledge of him not being Mfegue George’s official manager, despite securing the deal. Batamack brought into the context a certain Christian Mbongo, who reportedly had a 3 year deal with the poacher.

Close sources in Ghana have indeed revealed to sportsglitz.net that, the manager has formally informed the club of his thwarted contract with Batamack, threatening legal actions and Asante being a house – hold name, wishes to disassociate herself from shady transactions that bring forth wrong echoes.

It is for that reason that, club officials could as well review Mfegue’s contract, if a level ground of agreement is not found.

Manager Tigana oversaw the transfer of Mfegue and Etouga Mbella in the summer, with President Roger Noah fulfilling his part of the deal.

Batamack, always a stone throw from controversy, has however denied gifting Tigana Fontem his own agreed percentage of the deal.

This is the worse possible moment for all the chaos coming the way of 24 year old Mfegue. He started his first game for the club last weekend against Karela, and despite not scoring, he illuminate the ocassion with skills up top.
