Transfers: Clarence Bitang Heads To Jordan

Clarence Bitang has swiped Kazakh professional club Kaisar for Al Wehdat SC, a Jordanian Sports Club.

The Cameroon international penned for a duration of one year and the man who turns 30 in September is expected to improve the club’s creativity ahead of the AFC champions league and the Jordanian Pro league.

Bitang has had massive experience and he’s known both in his native Cameroon, as well as in Thailand, Macedonia, Greece and Kazakhstan, where he’s plied.

Bitang played the African Nations Championship in 2018 and was a standout player for Cameroon, despite the team’s poor general performance.

Clarence Bitang completed a famous treble while at Buriram PEA, winning the Thai league, Thai FA cup and the Thai Premier League. He scored 30 goals in 62 appearances that term, in what remains his best goal return.

The erstwhile Astres FC man has been brought in – to help improve Wehdat’s AFC champions league form, as they were booted out of the competition in the group stages last year.

Wehdat ended second of 12 in the Jordanian Pro league last year.
