Transfers: Ngwa Leonard Joins Segunda Side

Former Best Star Academy midfeilder, Ngwa Leonard Kisun has inked for Spain – Segunda B side UP Langreo, for a duration of 2 years with an option to extend.

It is the erstwhile club of forward, Jih Kalvin, who himsel, is a product of the prestigious Best Stars Academy.

Known for his abilities, and even a frightening prospect of improving, the management of UP Langreo had to go in without-a-blink for the youngster; Ngwa Leonard, 21, who previously plied at San Martin.

No doubt that he has been captured this way, after impressing at the lower tiers in Spain.

Close to being a master of his craft, Ngwa was amongst a crop of fine players in the youth set-up at one of Cameroon’s most talked about football academy, stylized ‘Best Stars Academy’. He captained the side to the round of 32 of the Cameroon cup back in 2018/19, where they unfortunately lost to Renaissance (5-4) on penalties.

Leonard Ngwa is still very much solicited, and pundits say he has a huge prospect of representing La Roja (Spain) due to his ability to read the game, and deliver, at such a tender age.

Jih Kalvin, who is now of Leonesa, was the highest goal scorer of UP Langreo last term.
