U20 Lions: 10 Players Dismissed, 8 New Arrivals In Camp
Having trimmed camp from 30 to 20 some 48 hours ago, U20 Lions assistant coach, Yvan Kenmoe has called up 8 new players to join camp at the CAF center in Mbankomo.
The newbies came in on Friday, October 21, following the release of 10 players on Thursday, October 20.
The Under-20 Lions have been in camp for a little over a week and have so far played two friendlies against Fondation TAAFI and Lausanne, gulping down a 2-0 defeat to Lausanne and defeating Fondation TAAFI via the same score line.
The new players called up in camp are; Fokou Teufack Casimis, Yede Samuel Dilan, Abate Abate Amiase Boris, Pafong Raul, Nsongo Tonfack Bil Dornol, Ngono Effa Stevy Donald, Bryan Bourget Sack and Che Randy Nji.
The junior Lions will remain confined for four more days before breaking camp on October 28, as the team continues preparations for the upcoming UNIFFAC tourney that will serve as a qualification process for next year’s U20 AFCON penciled for Egypt.
