U20 WWC Qualifiers: Lionesses Draw First Blood Against DRC

The Junior Lionesses won (0-4) on Saturday 25 against the Democratic Republic Of Congo in the first leg of the Under-20 World Cup qualifiers.

Cameroon took the upper hand against the DRC with a large margin at the Martyrs Stadium in Kinshasa, Congo.

The goals came thanks thanks to; Jennifer Aboudi, Lamine Mana, Brenda Tabe and Enganamben, enough to see Lionesses prevail in the first leg of the second round of the U20 World Cup qualifiers, Costa Rica 2022.

The victory with a large margin is a very good start for the girls of Mike Ndoumou.

The reversed fixture is scheduled to take place in Douala, Japoma on October 9.

The build up to the qualifiers was top – notch for the U20 Lionesses who lined up two friendlies against Morocco in Yaounde. Positives have been picked from that win and loss against Morocco on the 4th and 8th of July respectively.
