U23 AFCON Q Preps: Renaissance Defeat Lions In Test Game

Up against Renaissance of Ngoumou for their second warm-up match prior to the U23 AFCON qualifiers, the U23 Lions lost 2-1.

It was in a friendly held on Thursday in Yaounde. The U23 Lions had an occasion to test themselves for a second time prior to the match against Angola on October 30.

Guy Feutchine’s men however lost via a 2-1 margin at the Omnisport annex 1.

Despite another goal from Yvan Djantou (his 4th in two friendlies), the U23 Lions couldn’t follow through as Kevin Prince Milla and Kebel scored for Renaissance FC.

Etienne Eto’o Pineda got some minutes, and so did some other contingent of Lions, but the mix hasn’t gotten into full force yet.
