U23 Lions: Guy Fetchine Calls For Back-Up In Second Leg Against Angola

Set to pit Angola on Sunday during the 2nd round of the AFCON 2023 qualifiers, Cameroon will try to validate their qualification for the 3rd round, at home.

For this occasion, coach Guy Armand Feutchine has called on six players to reinforce his group.

The Decision was taken after the dismissal of five members of the team, who displayed themselves with toy guns in hand, prior to the first leg.

The technician therefore made the choice to turn to the local championship. Alex Limaleba (Avion Academy du Nkam), Issa Moustapha Hadji (Gazelle Fa de Garoua), Said Ryan Giss Dang (Fauve Azur), Yves Eno Brawdon (Coton Sport), Junior Quentin Ebwelle Ebwelle (AS Fortuna) and Manfred Mekumba Ekoi (Yong Sport Academy) join La Tanière to prepare for this return leg. In the first leg, Cameroon won in Angola (3-2).
