The Taifa Stars got the much needed draw against Algeria to ensure qualification at the expense of Cranes.

Aziz Kayondo placed Uganda ahead in the fist quater in Marrakech before Milton Karissa had his shot deflected to double the lead 19minutes later.

Victory was however not enough as Uganda needed Algeria, who had already confirmed qualification with 15points to beat Tanzania, which ended in a dead rubber.
