UNIFFAC 2022: Cameroon At The Brink Of Elimination After Parity Against DRC

The junior lions have complicated its task for a possible qualification to the U20 AFCON next year in Egypt.

Cameroon pulled up a parity (1-1) against the Democratic Republic of Congo in their second outing at the ongoing UNIFFAC competition.

That was the second draw recorded by the Junior Lions after they obtained the first in the opener against Congo.

Cameroon therefore have 2 points and rank third in the pool behind Congo who are 1st with 4 points and the Central African Republic – 2nd with 3 points. The DRC is last with 1 point.

There remains one last decisive game for the junior Lions against the Central African Republic. The Cameroonians will have to win the match to hope for a possible qualification.
