Union Cruise Past Dragon

Union Sportif of Douala won against Dragon by two clear goals at the Bepanda Omnisport stadium on Saturday.

Having picked up two draws in a spin, it was Sogba’s chance to vindicate himself with at least a win over an inconsistent Dragon side.

Dragon FC have picked up just one win in group B this campaign and it wasn’t meant to change.

Sogba was punching the air in the 11th minute when his forward Bogmo Neloh scored the game’s opener.

Dragon FC tried to fight back for lengthy spells of the game but it wasn’t meant to be as Nganti, sent on from the bench, sealed the deal at the 77th minute.

Union narrowly missed out of the playoffs last season but they are well and truly in the race this time, with 13 points from 8 matches played.
