USD: President Happi Leaves Union Disunited

The President of the Council of Elders – Emmanuel Ngassa Happi, has just informed by a press release, the resignation of the leadership team of Union Sportif Douala.

Franck Happi who arrived at the helm of Union Sportive of Douala in 2011, is now an ex-president of the Union Sportif as he has just left his post.

He announced his resignation from his functions to the president of the council of Elders of the club.
This resignation comes as the Douala-based club experienced its first relegation, after 63 years to Cameroon’s inferior league.

Franck Happi is not leaving his post alone. He is joined by his three vice-presidents; Paulin Zuko, Polycarpe Kenmogne and Yankam Bernard.

Faced with these difficult resignations, the president of the Council of Elders has indicated that a transition committee will be set up in the next 72 hours in order to continue with the management of the club, pending the next general assembly of the club which will make it possible to set up a new management team.
