Victor Osimhen, Moses and Emmanuel Denis Included In Long Awaited Eagles’ 28 – Man List

The super Eagles of Nigeria have released her 28 – man squad this Saturday December 25, featuring top African stars, in view of the 2021 AFCON.

The list comes after most other African giants released theirs.

the NFF has reportedly reached an advanced stage in its bid to recruit a new technical adviser for the Super Eagles, adding that the new man, a European, barring any unforeseen hiccup, will be unveiled sometime next week.

For now though, Augustine Owen Eguavoen is the caretaker manager. He and Salisu Yusuf (Chief Coach); Paul Aigbogun (Assistant Coach); Joseph Yobo (Assistant Coach); Terry Eguaoje (Assistant Coach) and Aloysius Agu (Goalkeeper Trainer), came up with the Eagles’ list of 28.

Not much has changed in the list as per personnel, as Rohr would have indeed had majority of the players on his list, himself.

Kaizer Chiefs goalie – Daniel Akpeyi will undoubtedly be first team starter in amid four other goalies.

After confirming full recovery from his head injury, Victor Osimhen is the big addition to the list. Captain Ahmed Musa is equally a name worth noting on the roster, so is Emmanuel Denis.

Nigeria go into battle against Egypt on January 9th. Games against Sudan and Guinea Bissau follow on January 15 and 19 in group D.
