Volleyball:Lionesses Captain Christelle Nana Leaves Chamalières After 11 Years

Chamalières Volley – ball club has bid farewell to Cameroon International Christelle Tchoudjang-Nana who has left for Volley Club de Marcq- En- Baroeul VCMB.

The 31-year-old Opposite spiker spent 11 seasons at Chamalières (2010-2021), and was considered an iconic captain, making the club’s history with her top class professionalism.

On her departure, the club wrote on ther Twitter handle;

@VolleyCham would like to thank Nana for her 11 seasons with the VBCC. Christelle has marked the history of the club through her commitment, her values and her offensive qualities. We wish her a good season with @Marcqvolley! 💪 # VBCCFamily #THANK YOU.

Chamalières equally known as the Panthers completed their fourth season in Women’s premier volleyball division in France, and are currently preparing for their fifth season.

Christelle Nana is one of the more experienced volleyball players on the continent, with immense success at national and club level. She led Cameroon to back-to-back African Women’s Volleyball Championships in 2017 and 2019.
