Vtora Liga: Eta Kufre Drives Belasitsa To Second Spot

Best Stars Academy graduate, Eta Kufre put daylight in the contest between Belasitsa and Litex with his trademark long range drive, on match day 12 of the Bulgarian second-tier.

The tower of a midfeilder scored at the 26th minute and Litex had no answers as it went on to end 1-0 in favour of the home side.

Kufre, 18, left the South West regional championship in Cameroon as a highly rated teen who as he arrived Belasitsa at the start of this summer. He seems to have fully adapted, imposing his play style in 5 games already played.

Kufre is already gaining a reputation and more, steadily edging his name in the lips of fans, with performances such as that of Saturday, October 8.

Belasitsa are on a good footing having won 3 in their last 5 matches, losing one and sharing the spoils in another.

Having played before their fans at the stadion Struma yesterday, Eta Kufre and co are off to the City Stadium next weekend, where hey will take on 8th placed Dunav Russe. Three points separate Belasitsa from log leaders Etar, with 22 games left. At the end, 3 teams will gain promotion to Bulgaria’s premier division.
